Pain so badly before period.

I'm 25. My period has always been regular and on time. the last 6 month with ls the day before my period starts I'm in such awful pain down there. the burning and throbbing just has me in tears. I cant wear pants or underwear at all. since trying out the steroids for 1 1/2 months my period isn't on time anymore like it usually was. I completely quit the steroids so now I'm back to square one.

anyone else have the burning pain the day before menstruation. any tips on how to make it feel better?

    Hi Kristin, you are probably having a reaction to the steroid. I would advise you to consult a dermatologist. If you have to go to a gynecologist, ask for a vaginal cream that is both anti-fungal and antibacterial. If you happen to have some fungal overgrowth (I don't think they test for all fungi), you may need antibiotics rather than anti-fungals for some strains, but a gynecologist may not have the expertise for that. There is also a moisturizing natural cream I buy from a Natural Grocers store with with calendula that is really soothing. Emu oil can be also soothing.
