Pain two weeks after surgery please help!

Hi everyone,

I new to this site & I would like some advice.

Two weeks ago on Friday I had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst of my ovary, endometriosis removal of bopth sides of my pelvis & adhesions removed from a previous surgery.

I was in a bit of pain due to having surgery but topday I woke up in immense pain. I am so scared because it feels like the previous pain I had. I can't get a doctors appointment until the end of July & I just feel like I can't cope with this pain until then.

Thanks for listening

Emma

    Hi Emma,

I would be tempted to go ring your local walk in centre or A&E dept.

I hope you get on ok bless you.

I went to a walk in yesterday & they said my wounds look like they are healing.

I dont like the idea of going to A&E because all they say is we cant treat you as it is endometriosis so you need to go back to your doctor.

I just dont know what to do anymore it is getting me so down.

      Kind regads

Go to A&E anyway. Explain that the endo was removed, this is NEW pain, and that you're not gonna make it for 5 weeks with this much pain, and shouldn't they perhaps investigate?

Don't clarify how you won't make it more than to say the pain is beginning to affect eating & drinking.

      We're here.
