Pain under ribs on right hand side

Came across a thread regarding the above topic which had been locked due to inactivity. Out of the blue I started to experience a random pain just under my ribs on the right hand side. This went on for 3 weeks until one day it go so bad I contacted 111 and arranged an emergency GP appointment. I was sent to Surgical Assessment unit for assessment and was given blood tests, urine tests and CT scan. Nothing untoward was found and it was suggested that it was muscular. Although delighted nothing untoward was found I was sceptical about it being muscular! The pain was worse when mobile and active and after a week or so of strong pain relief and taking it easy the pain went away. After 2 weeks pain free the same symptom has returned. Currently feels like a stitch type pain but wont go away. I had my gall bladder 6 years + ago. I was so surprised to read on the previous closed thread how many other people were experiencing the same thing but no one had a diagnosis. Hopefully the inactivity of the thread did not arise from the people previously posting to it are no longer here! Any incite into this would very much be appreciated. As I said it seemingly is intermittent and varies in severity. I can not lay on my front because of it. Strangely during my previous episode the area randomly became very hot and seriously sore to apply the slightest touch. Thankfully this only happened a couple of times and only lasted up to an hour on each occasion before returning to the standard stitch like pain. Very confusing and appearing to be impossible to get to the bottom of..

I have that to. it is starts after I eat not always . 4 years for me. all testing is normal. I did have pancreatitis and was hospitalized but my blood test then weren't normal. I have been to multiple specialist. now they say they want to do a procedure that they would make a slice to my pancreas. why should they do that if every test is normalL?

hey, thanks for the suggestion but symptoms of that appear to be relating to chest area as opposed to just under ribs on right hand side, but thanks anyway.

I looked it up. I wish it was that easy. I also have pancreatic divisum. in rare cases it causes pain. I also have a diaphragmatic liver herniation. so all is very complicated. I'm so sick and tired of doctors and there guessing g games. I am a human being and I have excellent insurance not that should matter. I am going to Rush in Chicago, il. I'm just sick of it all.

i have the issue when eating too much nuts , avocados with eggs or other fats .

my doctor said , it might be gallbladder .
