    Hi

If you are in the UK I seem to remember that after 6 weeks I had to go back to my GP with any concerns but maybe wound problems. Can you ring surgeons receptionist and explain?Maybe get an appointment at his clinic.Good luck to your nan.Remind her it can be a long recovery for many of us

    Hi,

    Ice and heating pad.

Ice will bring inflammation down. Heat will loosen things up

She may benefit from alternating heat and cold.

She had internal stitches in addition to the external ones.

    kind regards
