Pain when I touch my groin

For a while now when I touch a certain part of my groin I get a small pain in that spot and in a small area of the top of my thigh next to the area i've touched. Does anyone know why this is? The pain isn't bad and only happens when I touch that specific area.

Ok i had a similer issue but turned out i had a compressed disc in my back and i couldnt raise my left leg. Could be a nerve.but still could possibly be your back .dont mess around, go hospital.as i made my whole situation worse, i continued working as carpet fitter.all that heavy lifting made me start blacking out. And then yh i ended up in hospital they didnt have a clue at first.but done a mri scan and fount the problem.

As a general rule if a petient points to a very small area  then the problem usually comes from that area.  It is therefore unlikely to be referred from the low back.

Your first port of call should be your GP to check for a small inguinal or femoral hernia.      NB. The latter is best felt standing up.

    Good luck.
