Painful Acid Relux

I have been suffering with Acid Reflux since Feb my Gastroenterologist and did the upper GI test and than put me on 2 different kids of Meds at first they were working and now they are not (DEXILANT 60mg && TRULANCE 3mg once aday i have been HURTING for over 2 weeks with really bad stomach pain and burmping it makes me sick to my stomach i have been using a heating pad everyday, as of me writing this post im hurting. Do anyone else has this problem and what should i do?

Hallo Lora....so very sorry ..to.hear you are suff ering so badly....because i know all too well..how very unwelll reflux disease can make you feel....i.have suffered from reflux for many years.....and hiatus hernia...caused from being really messed up, during child birth....so know how deadful....and unpleasant...the symptoms make you feel..and often painful......i have a feeling that the medications you are taking...are not suited to.you...and are causing your symptoms....i at first..was put on to.pump.in hibitors....which workrd for
a short while....then caused severe stomach cramps....and having to.spend a lot of my day, in the bathroom....and even though.i.was put onto different ones.....the end result was the same......so i was put onto Zantac...150 mg twice a day.....and it settled down...i am still on Zantac.....because up to know....nothing else has suited me....it could be.....that the medications you are taking...are not suited to.you.....and are causing your problems........do get in touch with your Dr.....and tell him, or her....how you are suffering.....and the medications...do not appear to.be helping.....so they can be changed.....some times its a matter of finding the right medication...which helps.....and does not add to.your discomfort......i.feel.sure.that they will.help you...and find something...to.help.you...rather than make your problem worse...i know from experience...it can be trial and error...we are all. different....and often medications...do not have the desired effect...and cause other problems.....please speak with your Dr....so.you can hopefully....get it sorted....do hope you feel better soon......take care.......Shirley .

Hallo Lora....do hope that you will.get the help and advice...you need...i know all too well ...how the problem can cause ...such disruption..pain ...and constant suffering ....i.have suffered from it for a lot of years...more or less constantly....so know of all the nasty symptoms it causes.....and how hard it is to.get the correct treatment.....and the help..we need...which can be so.hard to.deal with...day ..after day.....it is hard to cure completly.....
explain to.your Dr..just how much it is effecting your daily Life.....so you do not just. get sent away ..with more Pills....why you are having...the problem...needs to.be found....so that you recieve the very best treatment...for your situation......i have a sliding hiatus hernia....which was given to.me....while in child birth.....and it has effected my life....quite a lot....make sure. you get the help you need.....not just sent....away with more tablets......hope all will.go.well for you....take Good care!!....all the very best....Shirley.
