Painful anus for months

Posted , 2 users are following.

I am getting really worried as have so much discomfort just inside my anal area, its been going on for almost six months twenty four hours a day with no let up.

I have seen several drs and tried lots of over-the counter and prescribed hemrroid  treatments but nothing is taking the discomfort away.

My symptoms are pain and discomfort, no bleeding , sore inside, burning and pressure in anal area.

i have recently found an external hemroid but even that doesn’t respond to treatment.  I can also feel a tiny pimple like lump inside.

Getting really worried that it is something more serious.

Has anyone had these symptoms.

I'm no doctor but what you have sounds like a fissure, a small tear that is very painful. It'll feel life a small lump in or around the anal area. You're right, no amount of creams will help and I'm taking from experience. I had mine removed, got botox injection done and the pain had gone away. I suggest you get yourself a doctor that deals with this and take it from there.

I’m going back to dr and hopefully will be referred to a specialist.

If it  was a fissure surely I would see blood when I go to the loo.

Not necessarily seeing blood when you have a fissure. I was diagnosed with bowel cancer after there was blood in the stool which was roughly a year before the fissure appeared. Burning sensation, pressure, agonising pain and sleepless nights are some symptoms of a fissure. There could be bleeding but not necessarily. Hope you feel better soon.

Hope it gets taken care of quickly and painlessly... All the best.

Thank you, after a really painful day yesterday I’m slightly more comfortable today. It’s been like this for going on six months now.  Hoping for some answers.
