Painful bump on my tailbone?

Sorry for bad English but I fell this Tuesday on the ice, and I'm not sure if it's related but I have gotten this bump on my tailbone/upper butt cheek and I was wondering if it was a strange bruise swelling (although it got bigger over time) Or something else entirely? I have'nt slept in a few days because of the pain and it hurts very much to sit up and I walk like penguins. Please Help!!! I am too embarrassed to go to doctor if it is just a bruise!!!! image

    I don't mean anything by this question, but are you male or female?

    If you are a male, what age group are you in?

    I used to be scared of doctors because of them looking at areas that I would class as off limit's... that was decades ago, these days my dignity has gone out the window.

    I had a similar experience to yours, but it affects men more than women.
