Painful cyst

I’ll keep this long story short. I’ve had this cyst for almost a year, it’s growing. Hasn’t tried to go away. Went to the doc a few times for it, they did nothing but give high dose pain meds or recommend birth control. My body doesn’t handle birth control well. Nothing works. There have been a few times I was scared it almost ruptured. I’ve had all the side effects that come with having a cyst. I don’t know what to do. There have been times I sat and cried because I felt so horrible. Any advice???

Are u seeing a gyn doctor or your regular doctor and how big is the cysts

I don’t have health insurance so I can’t really see someone on the regular as I can’t afford paying upfront. And my cyst the last time in March of this year measured a little over 5 cm. But it feels like it’s gotten bigger.

I’m so sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve been having! Is there any way you can have the cyst surgically removed?

I feel as though since I currently have no health insurance, I might not be able to. I’m hoping when I get it though I will be able to have it removed. I won’t know until November though. 😞

Good luck! And in the meantime, maybe they can give you meds to help ease the pain?

The pain medicine only works temporarily then once it wears off I feel even worse.
