Painful ejaculation, Reduced testicles

Posted , 3 users are following.

6 months ago I experienced painful ejaculation whilst penetrating which has further progressed to my testicles hugely reducing in size.  Each testicle is half in/out as if severe temp change, which men will understand !

i have also experienced in the last 3 months an issue urinating with an urge to go and then it's a trickle, and a slow one at that.

i visited my GP who said I had an enlarged prostrate and prescribed antibiotics for a period of 2 weeks with a urine sample showing all clear.

the symptoms have never really gone and now I am suffering with sustaining an erection after being aroused which is clearly creating a major issue within my marriage.  I am getting to my wits end as its a multitude of things that could fall under many categories.  I am obviously going back to doctors but I thought I would ask for advice too.  I have no discharge or blood in any urination. Please help

David, this is an indication of cystitus; a very unpleasant infection which I also suffered some years ago after sexual intercourse with my wife who past it on to me without any symptoms of her own. It's usually a female complaint.

I wish you the very best outcome with your other issues.

Thanks for your info Christopher, it's helpful to know it's not so isolated.  I posted it twice because I was not sure this was the right area.

the symptoms for cystitis certainly match but does not explain my dramatic fall in sex drive in 6 months.  It's a real cause for concern but am going to GP on Tuesday so fingers crossed.

      thank you

Good luck David. Please let me know the result of your GP appointment.

And by the way, the word 'past' in my previous message should have read 'passed'. It was late at night when I replied, so that's my excuse! wink

    hi there

you said it that your doctor found your prostate to be enlarged. presumable he found this my examining your rectum. also , i hope he did a blood test to find the level of your PSA (prostatic specific antigen).it was a good move to treat you with antibiotics but i would suggest a visit to a urologist. because if it is a bacterial infection that is not clearing with conventional treatment the best way to find out what bacteria is causing it and what specific antibiotic its sensitive to is for a urologist to retrive a sample of prostatic fluid . this would have to be done under an anaethetic and involves strenously massaging your prostate to get the fluid. you dont mention what age you are.  but ED affects alot of men for a variety of reasons so best to get a full blood panel too.

    hope this clears up
