Painful foot (left)

For a week ive Had pain in my left foot/ankle. It hurts above the heel on the inside of my foot. I can feel it strain when stretching with pain. Any idea what it is?

    I suppose it depends on what you had been doing before you felt the pain, have you changed shoes or what can you think of.

    Try ice and elevation and put your foot up, is it swollen?

    Its possible its just one of those things, our bodies take a lot of stick and there will be times we suffer pain for no apparent reason, doesn't mean its got to be something bad

      I work with animals, but there was nothing evident that made it painful. And I haven't changed shoes. Not swollen. Yeah, possibly. I'm 17 and hoping my body isn't giving up on me now lol. Thanks for your reply.

    Perhaps tendonitis.  Look it up an the internet and see if you think that is the problem.  They should give treatment options and healing times too.

      Possibly. I have tendonitis in my left wrist but it's not the fact that it stings or throbs, i can feel it straining and it's a dull but painful ache, if you get what I mean? Thanks for your reply
