Painful growth under tongue

I HAVE SOMETHING PROTRUDING OUT FROM UNDER MY TONGUE THAT IS EXTREMELY PAINFUL PLEASE HELP

It looks like you may have a stone in your salivary duct go and see your GP to get it checked out.

Stones in salivary glands can be quite common sometimes they come out by themselves other times they can block ducts and cause pain,swelling and infection.If you suck sour sweets it can help but can be painful as well due to saliva being blocked.The swelling generally effects the glands in the bottom of the mouth and under the chin.Have you got any facial swelling? I had a salivary stone in my submandibular gland.
