Painful lump in tricep swelling around it..aggravated when pressed

about 5 months ago I noticed a lump on my left tricep and my brachai muscle (I think that's how its spelt) was swollen..I felt the other one on the other arm and the left one is definitely more bigget than the right. I went to the doctors he said it was a cyst..he told me that nothing nasty grows in that area. I was quite happy and I forgot all about the lump until last week when I put my top on and the sleeve of the arm pressed against the "cyst" and it hurt for a moment..I hadn't touched that area since doc told me it was a cyst but I touched it and I was shocked it felt more swollen and I think the lump is bigger. since then I have become obsessed with it. it's the muscle that goes from the shoulder down to the elbow. the swelling starts at the tricep and goes down about 6 or 7 cm with what feel like a lump at the end the lump isnt small it feels quite large and maybe abit hard. I spent last night touching it it doesnt hurt to touch but after I've touched it it hurts for about an hour. last night I had some shooting pains in that area with some twitching sensation. today my boyfriend pressed it and it hasn't stopped hurting since. I've read about muscle knots and tendonitis but tendonitis seems to be nearer the elbow mine is more upper tricep. Ive also read that tumours can grow in that area which is not what my doctor told me. I reguarly exercise lift small weights however I havent done weights since i went to the doctor I lift a heavy running machine up and down every day and I deliver heavy parcels as my job but I have not worked for a few months now due to coronavirus. I cannot remember hurting the arm and it worries me that it's got bigger and more painful. anyone else had anything similar?
