Painful Sex

Good evening,

My name is Brad, and I'm 29 years old. As a child I was never taught how to properly clean beneath my foreskin, which resulted in never having exposed my glans until I was seventeen.

This was a painful and slow process as it was very tight, and revealed excessive smegma (some of which were large chunks 1-2 inches wide and thick) With a daily routine this isn't much of a problem for me anymore, unless I don't clean for a full day where I get minor smegma.

Over the last few years I have been learning a lot about my body, stretching my foreskin and having sex for the first time. During the first time having sex, I found the sensation on the foreskin painful. And after the second or third time there were bleeding/cuts on the foreskin on the top side shaft.

Since stretching daily, the problem no longer occurs in this area, but instead has moved to the frenulum. However, my foreskin isn't particularly tight. I can retract my foreskin, and slide it up and over the head of my penis with ease. I can also stretch and pull my frenulum without much discomfort, but once entering a woman it begins to become uncomfortable with the friction.

I don't believe I suffer from phimosis, I personally believe it could be from having thin skin on my penis, or due to a large vein in that area (I can clearly see the veins of my penis, including their colour, however the pain is only in the frenulum) The pain is also excessive to the point that sex isn't enjoyable, but masturbation is fine.

Any advice or help would be appreciated, as I don't feel I could ever please a woman through penetration in my current condition, without considering an operation of some sort

I have also only had sex with one woman because of this issue, and I thought that perhaps with time and practice this may resolve itself. However I own a fleshlight which causes the same problem ongoing. Thank you.

As I can't seem to find an edit button, I just wanted to mention that my foreskin is also extremely sensitive in some areas.

Just to touch is mildly uncomfortable.

It should senstive. The more you are able to stretch an expose things it should get to the point where its enjoyable.

you can get a little op called a frenuplasty where the frenulum is cut and stitched. whatever you do dont let them talk you into a circumcision.

I've went through the same issue.

Try to stretch it daily using a lubricant when masturbation an even during sex. After words use vitamin E oil to put on the gland /foreskin that covers your gland it will heal any small cuts an will be a lubricant as well.

You can also try sitting in warm bath water with an erection. This will also make the skin more softer so it stretches easier.

Thanks for the information guys, I might look into the frenuplasty...As no amount of stretching seems to help at all, the frenulum isn't particularly tight either.

With frenuplasty, is the frenulum removed or just loosened?

Hi Brad. My name is Christopher.

You may have a condition called 'frenulum breve'. You can try using a lubricant during sexual intercourse and see if that helps.

Alternatively, you may need an operation called frenuloplasty which will lengthen your frenulum and make sex painless.

Now just a 'heads-up' about the other matters you spoke about.

    1. The natural penis is self-cleaning. Why would nature make it any other way? Upon every urination (which is sterile), the penis is effectively 'washed'.

    2. Please understand that fresh smegma is a totally natural, healthy and beneficial sebaceous secretion which is present in both sexes. It is translucent and odourless. It has anti-bacterial properties which fight infection and also acts as a cleansing lubricant. It is replenished in a continual cycle. The word is derived from the Latin/Greek word for detergent/cleanse. Nature does not produce anything unnatural.

Stale, so-called 'smegma' is nothing more than fatty deposits surrounding dead skin cells.

By the way, boys begin to produce natural, health-giving smegma when their foreskins start to separate from the glans. It positively aids this natural process.

      Hi again,

      Thanks for all the information.

I'm going to have a look at the frenuplasty or circumcision worst case scenario.

I've been practicing stretching a lot lately, and sex is still just painful/unenjoyable, even with a large quantity of lubricant. It seems the be the friction and rubbing against the right side of the frenulum.

The area under of my foreskin on the top of the head of the penis also experiences discomfort.

At this point I don't see how anybody can possibly enjoy sex...

Hi Bradley. I notice you have sent me a PM. I will look at that now before I type anything here.

whatever, try at all costs to avoid circumcision. when watching on line fun to be obtained with a foreskin, either by the owner or a close friend makes me very envious. if medically necessary, well thats it.
