Painful Skin

Bit of a weird one but has anyone had painful skin patches. I have painful skin on my upper left hip. No rash just feels sore like I've burnt it. Nothing there. Googled it and a few things came up that it could be hormonal. It has all the signs of shingles but never any rash??

I have a strange something at the moment, I thought I had got something on my ear. Picked at it like you do felt a bit sore under where I'd picked and then over the course of the last week the whole outer ear has peeled like it's sunburnt and the skin feels strange too like it's been burnt.

The skin coming off it was quite thick several layers

    ? Nothing surprises me anymore.

This is what is going on with my eyelids.  Itchy then flacky like a sunburn . They go from itchy to pain.  Noting seems to help them.  I have a dermatologist apt tomorrow.

I have this on my eyelid also.  Just the left one.  Flaky skin and sore and itchy just like sunburn and eyelid looks swollen.  If you get an answer on this with your doc, please let me know.  I have it about 6 weeks now, no change in creams or anything.  another annoying

I got a steroid cream but doctor thinks it contact dermatitis.  I have 50 test patches on my back till Thursday.  She said it could be a change in the ingredients in my shampoo that I did not know about or a change in my body that I am not alergic to things I was not.  Maybe the alergy brought on by menopause.  Told me to try Free and clear shampoo in the meantime.

I also got cream but it had no effect.  I hadn't changed any products and wear no eyeshadows or anything on eyelids and it is still there.  Seems like just skin changes with menopause, it looks awful, like pink eyeshadow on one eye.  let me know how you get on with the test patches please and best of luck sad

I had a painful patch on my thigh a few weeks ago, can only describe it as a raw and tender feeling. No bruise etc. Its now gone. Just another pesky thing.
