Painful teeth

Hi all, I seem to be in the middle of a long flare-up, with pain occurring in many and varied places, more so than usual. This morning I woke up with all my teeth hurting, and although it went off after I had taken my morning meds, it has returned now and I ve had to take some stronger painkillers. The whole of my lower face hurts. I had a check up at the dentist last week and everything was fine.

    Hi Jeanne,

I'm sorry for your extra pain. I tend to grind my teeth at night and have a guard to wear. I have so many cracked and broken teeth, and a couple of months ago, for no reason, they all just started to hurt. It went in about six weeks with no other intervention. I guess it's just fibro.

Hi Jeanne I also have suffered with the pain in my teeth and around my jaw. I have also been the dentist as the pain was horrible.some of my teeth have cracked and also gone bad off my medication. He as said I also must grind my teeth so think that's what is causing the pain but I'd do notice it becomes more painful when I have a flare up. I hope it eases for you an your flare up calms dwn to gentle hugs kirsty xx

    Hi Jeanne

i recently had this problem where I kept waking up and all my teeth were hurting. It wasn't pain like I had a tooth problem it was like I had been clenching my jaw so tight whilst I was asleep. When I went to my dentist and told him I had fibro and also explained my teeth hurt he said its common for people with fibro to do this. He mentioned something called bruxism. I now wear a guard at night and it has really helped me x
