Painless circle on pens head.

I have had this for 6 weeks. I was treating it like ringworm but nothing works. No itching or burning at all. Please help. Thank you. Skin looks normal in the middle,  just slightly raised circular edge.

Looks like ringworm, but in a very mild form. If you had it elsewhere eg on your forearms or inside of mouth, and it started with a raised lump, I might speculate that it could be Lichen Planus (which I get every couple of years, but which goes away without treatment after a few weeks), but more likely a fungal infection, so maybe just persist with what you are already applying.

It's the only place I have it. Been treating it for 6 weeks.

Hi Steve. Did you ever have this diagnosed? And has it cleared up?

I have a similar issue and seems it’s Lichen Planus as mentioned in another comment.

Hey I was wondering if you had any more information about what you have/had. I noticed that I have the same thing, just a little lower under the gland. Been a few weeks now. Any information you might have learned would be super helpful. Thank you.

I had mine diagnosed as Lichen Planus following a visit to my GP. A short treatment of some steroid cream and it all went.

      Thanks for taking the time.

Let me ask you this tho, should I be concerned? Like, what exactly did the doctor say is the cause?

well your best bet is to see a doctor, because you may be different. If it's LP, like it was for me, I was told that it was very common and harmless

      Update*

So I just got back from the doctor and apparently it's nothing to be concerned about. Nothing better than hearing, "its nothing to worry about" from a doctor. Was a little uncomfortable having a female doctor twiddle my junk but, so glad it's nothing!

It was a steroid cream. I cant remember the name. Fixed the issue in a few days and I have been sympton free ever since
