Painless Red Spots on Penis (No itchiness)
Posted , 3 users are following.
Hi,
I've been sexually active for the last 4 months with my partner and within last month, I noticed these red patches on my Penis. I did check ups on for STDs and it was all negative (Syphilis, HIV, PCR test, Urine test, etc). And I have been sexually active with my partner with unprotected sex until now. The Doctors got me to apply Clotrimazole but it is still the same or worse, not reduced a bit.
Checked on with a General Physician today and He said it is to be seen as Herpes. I am confused because the reports were all negative. These are the pills given to me today,
Aciherpin 400
Remycin 100
Citroz cap 100
Please Help,
Thank you.

i'm no expert but doesnt look like what i would think of as herpes. How long has it been there? any pain? has your partner ever had coldsores?
i'm guessing you are UK based as herpes not a standard test. All you can do is go to a GUM clinic and try and get the sores swabbed, failing that there are online companies that can do swab tests and blood tests. A blood test will only tell you if you have antibodies not where you have herpes. Apparently 60% ish of the world have HSV1 and 15% have HSV2, rough indication, but very common.
Im struggling with this not knowing at the moment.

Hi, Thank you so much for the reply.
Well It's almost a month since I've got this and there is no pain or itch. Just red spots which is kind of worrying me right now. And she has not had any sores before or even now, even when we are sexually active. Also she have been doing her tests as well, once in awhile.
Well they did a cotton swab test and it was all negative. They did it twice and both were negative. Blood tests as in a full blood count or? Cuz they checked for VDRL and HIV and it was negative.
I am really worried and still trying to find out. But Thank you so much

okay it doesnt sound like herpes, if i was a betting man id rule it out. You can do specific blood tests for HSV (herpes) which can tell you if you have antibodies for type 1 or type 2. Gives you peace of mind but you may have already had it.
Youve appear to have ruled out some things. Get yourself to a dermatologist they can take a look. Could be molluscum contagiosum? has a look of it. Like i said no i aint no doctor.
You'll be alright buddy. I know how s**t not knowing is.

Hi Mark. I'm not sure what you have as your test results are negative and you have tried different treatments. my advice for you now would be to see a dermatologist at this stage. Any kind of skin problem can take a long time to get better but first you need to know what your dealing with.
