Since a year Im seeing redness bump on meatus but its painless. Sometimes my urine flow splits into two.

Also it would be dark red or pink in color sometimes.

Can someone let me know if this is normal or if this can be treated back to normal or will it have any impact in marriage life?

Alan, if something has been present for a year it is not going to go anywhere soon.

With a reaction like this it is usually caused by a reaction in the skin to something it is exposed to on a regular basis, or the skin has developed an abnormality. Usually if you had something in your urine that was causing something like this it would continue to get worse, or it would have cleared up many months ago, so it is unlikely to be a urine based issue.

Can I ask, are you regularly sexually active and not using condoms? I ask because it could be something your wife is quite innocently using externally or internally to the vagina that is causing the issue ....

If you have medical cover, or can go to a Sexual Health Service it may be best to get a Urologist to check this for you .........

Thanks for your response. Im not sexually active as I havent had sex with women before but I used to mastrubate. Is there any home treatment on this to try and see if that actually helps?

Okay, it is good that you have not been sexually active, as sexual related issues can cause a number of potential problems - so we can rule them out.

Treatment is linked to cause, and we don't know what has caused this.

So, it is unlikely to develop into a major issue, but again, as we do not know the cause we cannot rule that out 100% - and again, as this has been like this for quite some time it would also suggest nothing drastic is going to happen.

I did not check what age you are? It is possible that your meatus has just developed like this, and it is not an issue at all. Development of the penis can be up until the mid-twenties in age.

Other than this, you maybe near to consider the broader issues that can contribute to this: do you drink plenty of water, what shows if there is a urine problem is your urine will most often be a yellow or strong white colour, rather than being almost clear most of the time. Do you eat a lot of strong spicy foods?

What you wash your clothes with can even be a potential source of irritation for the extremely sensitive skin of the meatus. When you wash your penis make sure no soap or any form of body wash gets onto the meatus, when you do wash the tip area of your penis use water only - when showering dram the foreskin as far forward as it will go to prevent soap and other body wash getting onto the tip of your penis.

Also, get in the habit of drawing your foreskin forward to cover the tip when you are getting dressed. I would suggest that by doing a range of the things that I detail here may have some beneficial impact on this, but it is possible that your meatus has developed like this anyway, and there is no problem .......

      Thanks a lot Sir!

I Just turned 29 and I Used to eat medium spicy food daily.

Aleo my urine would be light yellow when I drink average of 2 liters and almost white when drunk around 3 or 3+ liters if water.

I really dont know if it was developed from birth or later due to mastrubation against bed/floor sometimes or any other cases.

Will defenitely try doing the suggestions provided and see if that helps!

I Heard someone says sea salt/Cocunut oil might helps ? OR Applying tea tree oil helps? Could you please let me know if that would helps if so please let me know if I Can apply directly or with some other substances!

Thanks for getting back to me. My advice would be NOT to apply anything at all to the tip / meatus of your penis - the danger is that whatever you apply can get inside the meatus or urinary tract and cause a major problem.

The easiest things to do are to prevent anything at all from contacting the head of your penis such as soap, shower gel and all forms of body wash. As I have also mentioned, soap powders to wash clothes with can also be a major source of irritation. Swap to soaps, shower gels and soap powders that are for sensitive or hypo-allergic skin types - this would be my main advice.
