Pains around my sternum

Posted , 6 users are following.

Hi there.

My anxiety is really bad at the moment. I have pains below my boobs in the middle, sore to touch. I guess it's around my sternum area. Was speaking to GP who advise's that this is likely a build up of anxiety. Does anyone else get this. Panicking it's my heart

    Hi Anne,

I too get this and think it's just our hypersensativity to all new sensations and feelings. These sensations are heightened for Anxiety suffers so don't worry listen to your doctor, I'm sure this is just your anxiety. P.s do not google! xx

Hi. I get this too. It like pins and needles. I also get it around my lips and jaw.

I try not to focus on it too much and usually goes away

Remember our anxiety like to play tricks with us. 😆

I thought it was gas when i read that. Or indigestion, i had that today. I was in a store and sharp pains started. It was under my boob and on my jaw oddly. Just two sensations i guess. I wont feed into any of it anymore. It never plays out well if you start focusing on it. The body is a well built machine, its the mind that messes things up. Anyway, For a second i got scared and then told myself to shut up its just gas and will pass. It did pass by the way. Took about 15 minutes but it passed. Whatever it was does pass.
