Pains in hands

Does anyone else experience random pains that just come, last for a couple weeks and disappear? I have horrible pain in my right hand like carpal tunnel. Came on suddenly. Will also get pain in left knee which last a couple weeks then disappears. I am taking all the supplements you ladies recommended and they help a little but not with these random pains. I can hardly use my right hand which isn't good. Yesterday I left work early because I just felt so weak and shaky. Haven't felt that way for a few months. I hate going through this, I feel so unstable but any tests I've had done, everything shows okay so I'm assuming its hormones. Also within the last 2 periods I've been spotting after. Not bleeding bad but spotting enough to wear a panty liner. Has anyone had that too?

    Hi Little Nancy,

wink I have these random aches and pains too hun, they're horrendous, R leg, R wrist, ankle, back, neck, and they move!

They are so debilitating, I have tried to do my usual exercises to keep myself fit but suffer so much afterwards its not worth it sad

Have ordered some high does Magnesium to see if that helps

I find it makes my job such hard work, and my work is physical so I feel that I am not pulling my weight, just can't do what I did before.......................................

Sorry if this is negative, would like to give you a postive answer, maybe one of the guru girls can suggest something

    please?

Ugh it's so annoying isn't it? Don't you just wonder if you will ever feel normal again? I tried exercising too, easy indoor walking and my legs ached for 5 days straight. They say exercise is good for you but it's too much effort at this point. You message is not negative, it's truthful. I agree the pain moves, it's in a different spot all the time. Right now my right hand and arm are in pain and of course I'm right handed and have to use the computer all day at work...lol.  Let me know if the magnesium works ok? Hope you feel better...it certainly helps to talk this out and know we are not alone!

      Thanks Mrs Merm!!!!cheesygrin

Has your Vit D level showed as OK?

      Tazchurch,

I haven't had my Vit D checked but I do take 1000 mg a day so I would think that is enough. I'm do for blood work, just been lazy about doing it. How many mg of D do you take? I'm afraid to take too much...

Yes I have this too in my left hand.  It's funny as thought I'd just leaned on it too hard but coukdnt think how I could have done that so interesting you've got this so yes maybe it is menopausal :-)

      Tracky,

I don't know for sure if it is menopausal but it goes along with all the other weird random aches and pains I get. The hand is a new one. Feels like carpal tunnel. Went to chiropractor tonight hoping some physical therapy will help or maybe it will just disappear.

Oh yes, love tossing and turning at night because of wrestless legs. I have such indigestion everyday too. I burp all morning lol and I've already had my gall bladder out so can't blame that but yes, I get so bloated that I can't breathe right sometime. Do you get that? Where you can take a deep breath?

Hi Nancy,  I had the same pain in my right hand/wrist sometime last year or so.  Just came on like that and lasted for maybe about a month or longer.  I would take 2 Advil when I can't take the pain anymore and that would help me a lot.  Had the spotting 2 months ago never got a regular period that month but got my regular period in August.  Since I found the site, I can see that it's all related to perimenopause.

We all will get throuht this together.  Can't wait for this to come to an end already!

    Take care

      Hi Ameroon,

I will have to try Advil, I've been taking Motrin but hate taking all these pills for all these random pains I get. I too cannot wait until this is over!!!! Wish my mom was alive so I can ask her if she went through all this too, I have nothing to base my experience on. Oh well, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...rolleyes

Hope you're feeling better these days!  I just started working last week so I didn't have time to come on here until today.
