Pale yellow discharge

I recently had sex for the first time in a few months and it was quite rough. The next day I noticed yellowy brown discharge and I assumed i just had some minor tearing or it was just normal discharge mixed with some blood. I had sex again with my partner (this time just a quickie and not rough at all because i was a bit sore from the last time) and today I noticed it was more yellow than brown now. Normal consistency and no odour, if anything a bit metallic which is why I first assumed it was a mix of blood but this yellow has me a bit concerned. I did notice I could smell the soap my partner used on his genitals, could it be a reaction from that?
