Palpitations

Anyone experiencing sudden palpitations....followed by anxiety and sweating....awful....wbc...fluctuating😳

    Cathy yes I am having all that and done went to cardiologist had some test done and says heart is ok but it's awful !  Palpitations burning face sweating stomach pain headaches it just continues to get worse !!  Had blood work done tested hormones and I am in menopause .  I am constantly scared flight or fight etc .  Just so you know you are not alone !!

    I used to get palpitations when I had my period or just before and now two years into menopause I have the odd flutter of palpitations even now, it seems very common in peri/meno

    Yes I have this too!  Sometimes I have felt very faint like I am going to pass out.  I've had heart tests but it showed nothing.  It is very scary and really aggravates my anxiety for the the rest of the day.

    Heart palpitations are usually caused by the loss of progesterone.  I had them too and still get them, but one thing that helped the most was progesterone cream.

    Heart palpitations can be due to hormonal changes. But before you assume, it is wise to see a cardiologist to be sure your heart is ok. You can then have your hormone levels checked and consider HRT. New studies show that starting HRT during the first 10 years of menopause may actually be helpful
