Palpitations and elevated heart rate

Me again!

OK 3 months into mono now. 6 weeks active stage (horrible and severe, ended up in hospital) and then about 6 weeks of what I feel has been recovery stage.

still can't exercise or do much. had a setback from walking long. in general I can do small walks in the day.

from day 1 I have had palpitations. doctors just brushed it off. resting heart rate has increased. anybody else?

it scares me so much because it makes me worry that its something like M.E/CFS because I still have fatigue and brain fog too.

betablockers help but I really thought the palpitations and fatigue should be gone by now.
