Palpitations and Silent Reflux

Has anyone experience these two things and made the link between the two? I have had palpitations.... Ectopic heart beats..... for about 6 years. Had lots of tests and nothing came up other than my heart skips beats. The thinking on it is, most people seem to experience it but no one seems to know why. The "Vagus Nerve" comes up when you do your research . It connects multiple organs and when one if them isn't happy, the nerve over stimulates the heart, resulting in skipped beats. About a year ago i found out i had an inflamed stomach. It still has not healed. I also have silent acid reflux. I made the link between that and ectopic heart beats. Rightly or wrongly. Can anyone relate to this please?
