Palpitations. Beta blockers

hi can someone tell me why that i take propranlol that my heart rate is down but my palpatations get worse . i also have tinitus and cant sleep and primenapausal im on sleeping tablets zopiclone but only taking quatre they dont knock me out get 4 or 5 hours sometimes bit more but it not straight through . Also not been out 5 months cause of lockdown . just dont seem to be improving can anxiety make you this ill . hospital and doctors fed up with me thanks
