Palpitations with tachycardia

Does anyone else feel a rumbling feeling (or maybe fluttering) feeling in their chest when their heart rate exceeds 140 or so? It doesn't hurt. It's just really weird feeling. It's in the middle of my chest, right below my sternum.

Do you get any acid reflux, trapped wind or constipation? Problems with your stomach can give you a similar feeling and palpitations.

    Hi Moon,

Yeah, I thought about that. I do have some issue with my esophagus/stomach, which I believe is also related to my POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome). I don't think that is what is causing the strange feeling though, although it's possible. Just wanted to know if anyone else experiences this feeling. I can't find any mention of it in the literature. People talk about a "fluttering" feeling, but I feel like this is more rumbling. And my doc doesn't think I have atrial flutter.
