Hi, is it Pancreas pals the facegroup page I have seen been mentioned on here before? Also if I join does everyone of my friends see I am now friends with this group ie like us normally posted when you accept a friend? Would be interested to join but don't want it broadcast all over Facebook thank you

Hi Lucy, I'm a member of Pancreatic Pals, and a couple of other medical groups, and I'm pretty sure none of my friends have any idea of what groups I belong to. Check your privacy settings, and check what others can see on your home page. The group is closed, so posts will come up on your home page and only you will be able to see them, as will any comments you make. I only belong to closed medical groups as I unwittingly posted on an open group and my daughter rang me all concerned! Most of the tough battles I fight, I like to keep private, so getting feedback from others in the same boat can be immensely helpful.
