Can anyone tell me if the pain and nausea of Chronic Pancreatitis can come and go in cycles? For weeks or so the pain can be really bad then it settles down to being bearable. Im just wondering if CP behaves like this.

In my opinion that is how it seems to go, diet and other things change as well

Each with CP will suffer with their own battles but usually that's the normal for me but I also have two ducts that get clogged which cause me attacks. Usually there's a trigger, whether it be diet or in my case my ducts. Foods play a huge role. I just saw the surgeon who will remove my pancreas in August and he said CP pain is supposed to die down in about seven years after having it, I laughed at him. I've never suffered so much and I'm not even 40 yet.
