Pancreatitis Diet Question

I  would like to know if anihiem green chiles is a wise thing to eat, basically with egg whites, or simple omelet for breakfast in a small portion of course. Just want to make sure before I have them in the morning. My understanding is all vegetables are okay basically, unless someone has had a bad experience that has pancreatitis. Thanks in advance, Gary

HI Gary, this might just be a 'me' thing but I used to tolerate chillies, loved cooking and eating hot and spicy foods however I no longer can, even the slightest 'burn' upsets me and if my nose reacts first, the smell I mean, I don't press ahead either.  I don't know if it's because of pancreatitis.

My body is good at warning me of sensitivities as I have lot of them and I take notice and don't push the envelope.  I do however try again at a later date to see how I go but with chilli it's a permanent 'no' unfortunately.  Good luck, perhaps someone else has a more scientific answer.
