Was it a panic attack ?, or had you gulped your food and got up to fast from where you were sitting.
The medical Profession are now considering, it is better for the public to eat smaller meals more frequently, they say the body can process smaller meals, than large meals.
If you are worried and you have not discussed this problem in the past, make an appointment to see your GP and put your mind to rest, then stop worrying

I havent gotten on this site in months because I feel I've over come panic attacks but I always get these notifications on my phone particularly from this site as I use to be on it all the time. I use to have random panic attacks that would last for hours. Long story short. After seeing 2 gp/endocronilogist /psychiatrists/2 psychologist/cardiologist/accupuncture as well as numerous ER visits I finally took the words of Dr. Harry Barry and decided to ground my self and "ride the wave" during panic attacks (which always lasted hours for me). I never fared well wi0th prescription drugs my psychiatrist told me i was way to anxious for pills and see a psychologist to bring my anxiety down then come back be casue she said i will have another episode. Well guess what i havent. I became obsessed with taking my blood pressure and would always freak out bc my bottom number was always way higher than the top and my heart rate was always high. I swore i had heart issues due to panic attacks. It was a vulnerable time that i do not wish on anyone. I would also feel tigtness of the chest which later on gathered the courage to take tums and it helped bc it turned out to be associated with indigestion or heartt burn which it didnt feel like it was. I became obsessed with my diet bc i was desperate to stop panic attacks. I cut out caffeine/alcohol sugars and fruit from my diet. As well as a fear 0f medications since taking a fat burner started it all. Its not logical but i felt if i eat sweet foods that cause my blood sugar to spike then that will cause me to palpitate which caused me to be anxious then panic bc i dwelled on my thoughts and went down a rabbit whole. Those thoughts are irrational and u cannot dwell on everytime you eat will cause get palpitations. You may have a slight spike in blood sugar which then you associate the feeling with the rush before a panic attack. What has really helped me my blood pressure drop and build me mentally stronger was crosstraining. I use to feel like i would have a panic attack everytime i worked out because of fast beats but i started slow and built up at my own comfort. I havent had a panic attack in over 5 months. I encourage you to find a new hobby which you can look foward to daily and distract you for a bit. Practice mindfulness meditation. And push yourself bc things like weight lifting or cold showers will stress your body but then help you gain tolerance to stressors that then will make you mentally stronger.

Hi Mike, you can ask your Dr for an ECG exam. That will be able to test the pressure of your heart and the rhythm and everything. If it comes back normal then that's a great sign
