Panic

What is happening?? I have suddenly developed panic attacks over the last few weeks.

l feel like I want to take off running. I recently was placed on Progesterone (on day 5) so hoping it may help?? I am very active and exercise daily, eat well and have never experienced anything like this. I had an endometrial ablation so feel unsure where i am in my perimenopause journey. Turning 50 in a december. anyone else????

    Hi JBrown,

    Panic and brain fog are my two main peri symptoms. You are not alone! I am sure your healthy lifestyle keeps the panic more in check than otherwise, but my symptoms are the same. Unreasoning panic over things that never would have bothered me 5 years ago.

    My panic started in my mid 40's, I'm in therapy twice a week and it is just starting to help.

      I'm so sorry! Hoping the therapy proves successful for you! It's very scary how this can appear out of no where. Glad to have found this forum to talk it out.

      The forum is life saving!

      I will say that my panic is worse when I eat foods I am allergic/ intolerant to. (Like today when I ate a handful of milk chocolate candy.)

      Truly, anything can seem to set it off. But at least I was half expecting the panic when I opened the package.

    your not alone we on here to support each through perimenopause journey and through post menopause journey we here to help. my doctor told me told menopause carry so many symptoms and she didn't want to put me on hrt because it have to many side affect. I am really thing about because I can't handle it. I pray alot ask God to see me through this. let us all stay in prayer 🙏 we need it.
