PANIC ATTACKS AND SERTRALINE

I have been on sertraline for about 8 weeks does anyone else suffer with panic attacks and also do they wake very early in the morning and still feel panic and then they end up having a bad day.

    Hi been on 50mg for about 3 months for anxiety,panic attacks. I still wake about 5am every morning usually resulting in me having to get up because it makes me feel really uncomfortable and it starts it all over again, what is wrong with me, am i ill, is this the usual anxiety,panic and this is how my day starts day in day out. Anyone relate to this?

    I can relate to this I am having panic attacks not so much the very pounding heart but going very hot and then the panic starts again is there anyone else like that.

    I wake up and as soon as I open my eyes I can feel my heart beginning to pound in my chest and my breathing becomes shallow... I was taking 40mgs of citalopram..now dr has changed me to this tablet..100 mgs..so have to see how it goes. Your not alone. The worst thing is when your having a panic attack for no apparent reasonb

    I can be a sleep and then start to get hot and that is when I start to panic

    Hi, my panic comes on suddenly i can be feeling fine then i start to feel weak, detatched, dizzy then as if i a Im going to pass out. Iam so scared i just want to be normal again, everyone else appears normal in my eyes . I have never actually met anyone else like me before. I cant even go to work.

    Does anyone else out there suffer with panic attacks I can be fine one minute then it all happens I go hot weak at the knees and head startes spinning is there anyone else like that or is it just me

    yeah, Ive had this - worse in the mornings for some reason.

    It does wear off in my experience, but it took me about 2-3 months Im sorry to say.
