Panic attacks are taking over

I'm 24 and suffer with panic disorder, I've been managing it really well for 5 years, I'm on sertraline 150mg , but the past month everything has just went awful, I'm constantly on edge, jittery feeling in chest 24/7 hardly sleep because I'm so jumpy , I've started having double digit panic attacks daily again, no one in my family suffers with mental health so I can't really talk to any of them, I don't have any friends as my days are spent in the house , but the other day I had such a severe panic attack I called an ambulance, I'm obsessed with my heart , it's so fast constantly and jittery, surely this cant be normal, or just in my head? Anyway I had ECG done and everything was fine,

Hi Kate,I know how scary it is and worrying to think about changing meds, it might not come to that yet as you can go higher still on sertraline, but if you need to change try to? remember that sertraline worked for you and so will another one.The fear is the length of time you have to wait for them to work, you got through it once and you will again, you are a lot stronger than you think,we have to be dealing with this illness, Your gp might give you something to help with the transition if he changes your meds,My go gave me promazine to help me sleep, but I only take it when I'm desperate,I don't want to depend on it and propanolol can calm you down, just be sure to tell your gp how bad you are feeling, good luck a d keep us posted x

Maybe you should go back to the doctors and review your medication?
Have you tried any breathing or meditation exercises?
Is there anything that could be triggering the attacks.
Thoughts are with you

These two things alone are better and more effective than meds.

Otherwise I would advise to see a Phychotherapist or visit your local mental health centre
