Hi there,
Im about 27 weeks pregnant and I’ve been having panic attacks for over a month every day every hour... i was put on 10mgs of cipralex to help me cope which has helped, but has not completely to stopped my attacks. I think im overthinking them . I had a few days were i thought maybe i was having seizures cause i was having the attacks in my sleep. It starts on the left side of my body i get a weird feeling in my head, almost like im falling and then a pain from my neck down to my hip... thats what worries me and i also get dizzy and have a hard time focusing. But i can still continue a conversation while having an attack . Has anyone else experienced a panic attack this way?

Hi, I would definitely say it's all anxiety. And you are absolutely right these panic attacks are different from which others have 'the typical type' but it's exactly the same type I have. And they are horrible, I have tried different anxiety meds before ( but never when pregnant, wasn't diagnosed then) however I'm on 40g of citolopram now and I couldn't live without them. They are the best I think. However not sure if your doc will put you on them whilst pregnant but maybe a lower dosage. Good luck! And good luck with your new addition!
