Panic attacks in the middle of the night

I've been suffering with Anxiety for a few months now. It has come about as a result of being poorly with kidney problems. I'm struggling in social situations and so I have propanalol to help me on a daily basis.

Recently, twice, I have had anxiety attacks in the middle of the night that have developed into fully blown panic attack. I genuinely feel so much fear! My heart rate is off the scale and I feel like I can't move.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Or does anyone have any advice and know why this is happening and what might be triggering?

Well, I had an anxiety assessment and I have apparently not only got severe anxiety, it's teamed up with severe depression. It's all so new and I've not started any CBT yet and I'm only on beta blockers. What meds are you on?
