Panic attacks in the morning? Is this normal?

I used to suffer from really bad panic attacks at night when I'm trying to go to sleep, but now it changes where my panic attacks happen right as soon as I wake up in the morning for the past few days now. Is this normal? I'm so fatigue in the morning and it's so hard for me to wake up, that I have to physically get out of bed to keep myself wide awake and I feel like I might pass out, I talked to my doctor about this before on my anxiety problems and he would tell me to relax, that I'm too young to worry about health problems and to try to stay positive. I'm in my 20s, but I also suffer from health anxiety too where I freak out over anything that makes me sick out of the. blue or when I know my body feels off. Does anyone experience this with anxiety? Fatigue, muscle weakness, headaches, feeling dizzy and head fogs? I also feel so detached from myself too, like I'm just a zombie.

yes panic attacks in the morning are also very common. One of the reasons is because adrenaline sometimes is higher in the morning.

all of your symptoms you mentioned are very common with anxiety. I have had all of them and still get some occasionally but they don’t cause me worry because I know that they are harmless when due to anxiety. but I know how awful they can feel.

is there something going on in your life causing you anxiety? Can you speak with a counselor? most doctors really don’t know what to do about anxiety sensations other than prescribe medication. That’s why it’s good to find somebody to talk to who can show you how to manage it.

for some relief, it’s a good idea to relax your mind as much as possible. That tells your brain that everything is OK. I like to listen to meditations on YouTube for anxiety. I listen every night while I’m laying down to sleep and I fall asleep before it’s over. There are so many on there that you could try! feel free to private message me anytime.

Hey, it's sadly part of the anxiety I have the same problem.. I'm 27 and have been dealing with the same symptoms you have. In the morning give yourself some extra time before you have to get out of bed and get your day started. what I do is lay in bed and let my self wake up, take deep breaths and drink a bottle of water, scroll on your phone for a while or play some music to keep your mind busy. when you're ready to get out of bed do it slow! Just some things that help me! The detached from yourself feeling I also have and it sucks, I'll feel like that all day until i can shut my eyes again, I usually wear sunglasses during the day and it helps a lot!
