Try to calm down and things will get better. Focus on positive thoughts and don't blame everything on the sertraline. Your diet can affect your bowels. Eat clean healthy foods with fiber.

Give the setraline a chance to work, things will get better.
Are you getting much sleep?

Yes to all the above. This is just typical and will 'catch you out'. Worry not as the Sert is to blame. How do I know this? been there and done it for the last 6 weeks, but apart from today when I am finding it very hard to be happy (I know not why apart from the NHS being in meltdown again), my digestive system is having a great time testing me out and demanding all sorts of treatments. The best treatment is.....................Oil of Peppermint slightly diluted or nice warm Ginger Cordial.
You will get there. It is early days for you but honestly in 10 days you will be smiling more than grimacing.....you really will.
All the best,
Phil

not to worry but it's so hard not to, especially with my fears. I have beeen on them before and can't remember the bowel issue to be honest, they did help me but for some reason i am feeling they won't this time but i also know it's early days x
