hydration is the key to all, some foods might help, oatmeal, leafy greens, grapes, melons, spinach a life saver too... Good luck!!

keep your stools soft but formed. drink lots of water. don't strain either. make an appointment with your GP as soon as you can and they can examine you and diagnose anal stenosis.
i was one of the unlucky ones who had acute anal stenosis after a grade 4 haemorrhoidectomy. i had no aftercare and my surgical note were files in the wrong place so for 5 months there was no record of me even having surgery. i am now awaiting a colostomy bag due to the first surgery leaving me with the stenosis and the surgery to fix the stenosis leaving me constipated with loss of sensation.
with my stenosis i could feel the stool and felt a lot of pressure but could not pass anything. i would have to manually remove the stools from my rectum with a gloved finger. the pain was often unbearable and i was always afraid i would have an accident.
so my advice to you is if you think you are suffering with anal stenosis, get it checked ASAP

so sorry to hear you had to go through this ordeal! if I may ask, was there an off chance you did manage to have bm without the gloved finger, or was it completely nothing? i do have similar symptoms but today was able to pass a little, albeit it took its time. thank you for the help and i hope you recover soon!
