Paroneal tendon surgery 4 weeks post op

I was just wondering what happened to you guys ok your four week post of appointment for paroneal tendon surgery. A little background is I was born with very loose, flexible and shallow grooves. My surgery was to fix tears in the tendons, scoop out some tissue, deepen the groove and I believe put a pin in. I'm still in a cast nwb with te stitches still in. I'm a little worried as te pain is still awful and I'm talking periodic pain medication and often am in tears, screaming and clutching my ankle in extreme pain. I'm worried about having to walk on it and do pt. Any experiences and comments would definitely help to put my mind at ease. Thanks

Hello. Tomorrow puts me at 4 week post op since peroneal tendon and ATFL repair.I will agree that at times the pain is horrible. I am able to put very little weight on my foot with my cam boot on. My cast came off at 2 weeks as well as my stictches out.Still far from being able to put any weight to amount to much. This is a very extensive surgery and so much more than I was expecting. And some times it seems as more nerve pain than actual pain from the joint

What exact surgery did you have? Just so I can gauge the severity and if our recover should be kind of the same. Best wishes 😊
