Partial hysterectomy with bladder sling

Scared to commit to this surgery. Afraid of chronic pain or issues with the sling. No one really talks about the after. Is sex different? Can you still have orgasms? I am electing to do this because of stress incontinence and uterine prolapse.

     I’m five weeks out so have not been able to have intercourse yet… However my doctor said anything on the outside is fine! I have had absolutely no problem having an orgasm. I feel 100% at this point I wouldn’t hesitate at all. One of the easiest surgeries I’ve ever had. The hardest part is feeling so good and needing to remember that you still have restrictions ! Good luck!

    I had Tvh and anterior 6 mths ago. Although I had no sling as I don't have leakage .sex is fine and orgasms too.

    I was told no outercourse either due to contractions on pelvic floor..it needs rest completely for 6/8 wks.x
