Partial knee replacement

Posted , 5 users are following.

I had a knee replacement in Jan of 2019. My knee had not felt good ever since. I am experiencing a freeze in my leg that causes excruciating pain if I move it a certain way. For 2 days I slept in a chair because I couldn't lift my leg. Going to a new Orthopedic Doc tomorrow. Anyone else experience this? I have had 2 xrays bu my surgeon who says everything looks good so I am really confused.

That's rubbish for you Julie. I hope you get to the bottom of it. GG

I wish to hell I had not had mine done either. 17 months ago, and still hurts and ROM is around 100, which is unacceptable. x-rays always look good, so the docs tell you, oh everything is ok. If that's the case, why are there 100's of revisions done every year.. And they are NOT all because its worn out.....There are other reasons for revisions.....

Does it have full range of motion? How's the swelling? Are you walking with a walker still or advanced to a cane or walking with nothing? (Sorry for the questions, I want a good idea of where you're at prior to detailed comments)

I use a cane. I don't have full range motion. Swelling most of time and warm to touch

I would be getting another opinion too , I had mine december 17 and havent really had any actual pain after initial couple of months , yes feels tight etc sometimes or when I turn over in bed can feel a bit of a clunk almost but not pain. I hope you get it sorted
