I had a TKR nearly 11 months ago. I suffer no pain except when I put too much weight on the leg. I can only walk using a Walker. in the last month I have noticed pain is reducing and I can put more weight on the leg every day before it hurts to continue. I have managed to shuffle a few steps with only one hand on the Walker. I guess it's just a matter of time, which is different for all of us. Some people are walking in a few weeks, some take a couple of years.

    Good luck! Jim
