Partial knee replacement and EXPECTATIONS!

Hello!

'Partial' is a very misleading word! As is 'outpatient procedure'!

I have learned that the trauma done to the knee and surrounding tissue and nerves is still...well...very traumatic. I am 5 weeks post-op and still in a lot of pain; taser-like, tightness, collateral pain on my hip and calf...blah, blah...it hurts!

And my expectations were way too high! I've learned that in this forum. I need to have patience and remember that I am not alone.

My request to anyone who's had a similar experience: How are you doing?😊💙
