Partially torn ligament in wrist

I recently had an MRI done on my wrist and it determined that I have a partially torn ligament in my wrist. My doctor told me to of course not do anything that causes it pain but thats kinda common sense. I was referred to an occupational therapist that I am seeing 3x a week as of now to try and heal the ligament. My issue is that I'm still in a great deal of pain throughout the day. I've been told to try wrapping my wrist in an ace bandage to help stabilize it and lessen my pain but thats not doing much for me. Anyone experience this and have any suggestions/thoughts? anything is appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!
