Patch of skin discoloration - is this severe eczema; tinea versicolor??

In mid august i saw that i had developed a circular rash on my left arm - it kind of resembled ringworm in the beginning. it would be dry, itchy, and sometimes slightly reddish. i would treat it with Aquafor & Lubraderm to help with the itchiness and dryness. But, after about a month and a half, the patch developed into a light tan-ish discolored spot (kind of looks like a scar now). i contacted my primary care dr about it and they prescriped a 2 in 1 anti fungal & steroid cream. i used it for about two weeks which is the recommended time frame and it did nothing to help. i told my dr and they submitted a referral for a dermatologist but i wanted to hop on here and see if anyone might have ideas as to what this is??

i only have pictures of what it looks like now, now how it looked like when i first got it (it kind of looked like ringworm). also... i have discovered much smaller patches of discoloration too.... one on my left arm above the large patch and one on my left side of my stomach. they are small , but i have no idea what this is or why it wont go away! the large one is ugly and ive tried using foundation to cover it up and it doesnt cover it up well at all.
