I went to the ER bc I have phnemoniua and the day before yesterday they ran a blood test didn't say 2 words came in and done a sonogram of my "gallbladder" walked out. Dr came in and said everything looks great here's 5 scripts (for phnemoniua)

I get home the last 2 days I can't eat I have no want to eat. Just not hungry. I'm downing water almost 32 bottles in 2 days but so hydrated but my mouth has a copper taste and horrible cotton mouth.

I'm was not on any meds.at the time of or prior to test. I had eaten 6 hrs before.

my ALT was 322

My AST was 261

APT was 155

Why do you think it's this high?

I'm 34 and I don't drink and smoke!

I had my sonogram and scan last week with doctors confirming that I had soft and non tender abdomen, no jaundice , USG showed no dialated bile duct , but increased echogenicity .

    2. My blood work revealed I had GGT 194 and ALT 94. I don't even know how these results work. But at least I had been drinking the day before the test and the week before. So I suspect it had to do with the alcohol.

    3. I have been referred to consult with a specialist on internal medicine, which I am yet to do though. Previously I was feeling very tired easily and always fatigued. But I am withdrawing from alcohol and scarcely drink these days and I kinda feel like my strength is returning.

    4. I am still alarmed at the numbers, but yours here dear Amanda are really high. But since yours is not alcohol based I would suggest you test for HCV and HBsAg. You will need to eliminate that it's not hepatitis to know the next direction. You might need another round of blood work.

Excuse my short reply but it could be that you have a bacterial infection, this will raise your liver enzymes.
