Hi David.  Really dull, yucky morning here, too.  The only way I could use parallel bars would be to drag myself along for a few feet!!

like molly i have been for a stroll in the park just to get legs and brain going, dry but dull here, not much to do in the garden now which is one of my main pleasures, hence having a cuppa & on L/top. winter months for me are a real downer. looking forward to family holiday when i hope to be able to get onto beach with kids& dogs and football. Filey cold but hope dry. best wishes to one & all. Dave. sorry about this but i have posted to my self. need to get hoover on my brain. O dear.

Good to hear you u posted to yourself, why should you be the only one with brain fog! Like me, I think that at the moment we have to do things that do not push us more than we know we can cope with. I have learnt with this illness that we have to go with at the moment. I realise it is difficult but we have to take this a day at a time and then we won't be disappointed .

Cold enough for a winter coat.  A brisk October day, puffy clouds scudding across a dazzling blue sky, clean, fresh air.  Invigorating and uplifting.  smile

This time last year we were camping in temperatures in the mid 20s - this last week we've had snow in sight. Today was to be better and we needed to do something in town - so after lunch we walked in. Warm in the sun, no wind, a fleece was more than enough. Then we turned round to head home - to see massive black clouds and rain on the mountains! Luckily it stayed there and now we're home the sun has come out again - but the wind has got up.

They SAY it will be better for the rest of the week - I don't think I'll hold my breath!

How often is Filey dry? I really don't like the Yorkshire coast in winter - it's even windier in Whitby than in summer! The paramedic daughter dreads it - they don't get winter tyres on the ambos and on her very first week she was in one that slid on snow and toppled over onto its side as they are very top heavy...
