Patulous Eustachian Tube after double jaw surgery

Hi all.

i had double jaw surgery 6 weeks ago and ever since i have had issues with my ears.

Every time i swallow they pop and make a crackling sound, i sound loud and echoy when i talk and sometimes they "pop" and i can hear myself in my own head - my breathing, heart beat and my own voice sounds like im in a vacuum - like if you were to put your fingers in your ears or hands on your ears and speak.

My ears crackle and click every time i swallow, i constantly sound nasally and echoy and only occasionally (like 3-4 times a week for a few minutes) do my ears "pop" and i get the sensation of being trapped in your own head hearing your breathing and voice. I stop this by bending down and putting my head between my legs.

does anyone else have these symptoms??

    Have you seen an ENT? Best to see an otologist/neuro-otologist as they specialize in those conditions. Thats a difficult condition to treat but they're are things they can do. From surgery to less evasive things like extra strength saline salt water or Patulend. Patulend has been shown to help people with that condition.
