PCOS diagnosis... unsure of diagnosis...

So since August 2016 I haven’t menstruated, I also experience agonising pain every single day. Despite 5 DR appointments, it took until the 6th for someone to stop telling me it’s because I’m stressing too much...
The first doctor said don’t worry about it, if I want children go and see him!
I went for a vaginal ultrasound and it was confirmed I have multiple cysts so I was diagnosed with PCOS. My DR said that the only reason he diagnosed me is because of the absent periods and scan results. But he isn’t 100% it is PCOS as usually people with it have 3 symptoms and I have non other than the above.
I have my first gyne appointment on the 17th October.
The only reason they are referring me is due to the pain I experience still. Sometimes I am known to be up all night and cry.
I have been put on the combined contraceptive pill to help trigger periods, I have been on this one before and I don’t have periods on this as it is a rollover pill. I told my DR shouldn’t I have one that allows me to ovulate and he said no, I feel like my appointment in 2 weeks will be meaningless as the whole aim of this is to help me ovulate. Not avoid it.
Since I have been on the pill my pains are worse and are also shooting now...
I don’t know what to do!

I completely understand and can relate. Sometimes the pain can be so unbearable. I often feel like something is coming out of me cause of the heaviness. Keep expressing to your doctor how much it hurts and don't stop until you get an answer you're satisfied with. Only a person experiencing this type of pain knows what it feels like. Good luck to you.

I got diagnosed with PCOS, and i was experiencing constant pain, which most doctors say shouldn't happen if you have PCOS, because pain isn't necessarily a symptom. So a few months I saw a vascular specialist for my pains in my thigh, and he talked with me for a while, and is very certain I have Pelvic congestion syndrome (I haven't been diagnosed yet I'm waiting for my ultrasound). A lot of women with pcos have it, but it goes undiagnosed. It's basically varicose veins surrounding your uterus and ovaries. Pain gets worse through out the day, because as you are sitting and standing blood pools around in the veins in your pelvis. Some common symptoms are bloating, pressure in the pelvic area, a dragging feeling, pinching or shooting pain, a dull ache, pain after sex, pain during ovulation, and irregular periods, it can even cause cluster migraines.
I'm not sure if this is what you're going through, but I never would have thought it was possible to have varicose veins in your abdomen. Hope it helps!
